Holy Monastery of the Holy Archangels

Nestled in the village of Keratea, Greece, the Holy Monastery of the Holy Archangels serves as the archiepiscopal monastery of our diocese. It is from this spiritual heart that Archbishop Michael’s ministry and blessing extend to our communities here in America and around the world. Dedicated to the Archangels Michael and Gabriel, who stand ever before the throne of God as messengers of His will and guardians of His people, the monastery is a place of unceasing prayer, monastic discipline, and hospitality, carrying forward the same patristic and ascetic tradition that we all strive to embody here in the Americas. Though separated from Keratea by an ocean, we consider ourselves spiritually joined to this holy house, and we ask the prayers of the Archangels and of the monastics who labor there on behalf of our own growing community.
